Die Cutting Operator

FULL-TIME

$18.06/hr

Duties include setting up and operating machine to cut folding cartons; ensuring that the Die Cutter is Operating in the safest possible manner; that the quality of the produced product exceeds customer's expectations and that the performance goals are achieved. Additional duties include reviewing job ticket. Conducting pre-make ready as required. Setting-up die, counter plates, stripping section and press. Pulling front trim as required. Cleaning counter plates and stripping down dies that are locked up. Cleaning area around the press. Performing maintenance as required. Delivering cut cartons to the finishing department.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM or 2:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Monday-Friday plus every other Saturday for 8-hour crews. 12-hour crews work 3 days one week (Monday/Thursday/Friday) and 4 days the second week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday)

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 75 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience and/or trainingMust be willing to work any shift - days/swing/graveyard
