What We Are Looking For

The Senior Development Engineer performs and carries out various engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks from the acquisition of foundational knowledge and expertise related to a technology or application with the intent to create innovation opportunities to product development application. This position works on components of an engineering project or operation and manages small to medium projects in scope from start to finish in accordance with the company's policies. The role also prepares models, conducts experiments, analysis, and evaluates results to Prove a Concept prior to handoff to a development team area to actual design and development of electrical products

What You Will Do
  • Perform moderately complex engineering assignments and apply advanced engineering principles and analysis as required.
  • Conduct technical investigations. Identify and prioritize all engineering aspects of the project. Develop test plans and review results with the team.
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate engineering assignments and several pieces of a major project. Develops formal project requests.
  • Prepare reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve routine and non-routine issues. Escalate problems and roadblocks as they occur
  • Provide, integrate, and communicate technical information and engineering recommendations
  • Provide guidance to less experienced engineers or technicians
What You Will Bring
  • Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Years of Experience: 5-7 years
