All Interns have the potential to be hired full-time upon graduation. The candidate will use the verbal and written communication tools they have learned through education and apply them to a professional setting. This is based in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be requested to come into the office 3 days a week as part of our Hybrid work policy.

As the Deskside Technician Intern your responsibilities will consist of:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-user computing devices (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers).
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Assisting with user account management and access control.
  • Responding to help desk tickets and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conducting hardware and software upgrades as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and software applications.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for technical issues.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in IT support or customer service roles is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in resolving technical issues.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Physical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • If working remotely you must maintain a reliable and usable internet connection.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% within Indianapolis.

    Conditions of Employment:
    • Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screen.
