DESCRIPTION:

• The Designer is responsible for designing new concepts and designs for a product category within defined theme and seasons from concept through back end work and final delivery.
• Delivers brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print and graphic design for new/existing product lines.
• Researches and interprets fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand.
• Creates Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for hand-off to the Production Team Order.
• Review mechanical art work for final design approval prior to release.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Portfolio or website needs to be submitted with application
• Bachelor degree in Design or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in 2D design, Illustration and graphic/product design e.g. personal care
• Strong sense of design, typography and color plus demonstrated expertise in 2D label or graphic design
• Strong level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills
• Drawing and computer illustration skills
• Strong Illustrator and PhotoShop skills are required
• Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography
• Strong fashion sense with ability to translate into graphic design
• Ability to work in a highly collaborate design environment
• Solid communication and presentation skills
