Your Role:

The Designer is responsible for developing process packages for high purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems. Designer will execute product designs and drawings that meet safety and functional requirements.

  • Use CAD applications to develop drawings suitable for manufacturing and customer use, from product documentation, assembly models, drawings, bill of materials, schematics
  • Transact in MRP/ERP to generate or revise bill of materials
  • Associate drawings to parts
  • Process Engineering Change Requests which would result in revisions to drawings, bill of materials, and as-built records
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and commercial as needed
  • New product integration into manufacturing
  • Develop and implement improvement plans for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Computer Aided Drafting field
  • 1+ years of experience in SOLIDWORKS® including part modeling, advanced assembly and drawing detail knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Drafting practices and procedures, basic math, geometry
  • 3D modeling/visualization experience
  • Experience in the use of document management system
  • Experience in MRP/ERP system such as SAP
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate across media and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to excel in a fast pace, multi priority environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in cross functional teams while aligning with business needs and priorities
