Location: REMOTE
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Scientist.

Hiring Manager is looking to add additional hands on client's current efforts to migrate all the SAS models to Python by end of this Financial year. We are looking for an entry level Data Scientist with Python programming background. Someone who has strong exposure of Python programming and can also optimize current python codes to efficiency and best practices.

This person should have a bachelor's degree in computer science

This role will be remote until Dec 2021, but this person will be required to work from office from Jan 2022. Please do not submit anyone who would not be able to come onsite as and when required by the business.

Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Master's degree / Bachelor's degree with 2-3 year experience in a quantitative discipline, demonstrated experience with python coding and machine learning

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:

• Advanced hands on experience with tools such as: R, Python (Numpy/Pandas/scikit-learn). This person may also be well-versed in using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to problem solve, such as Logistic Regression, Time Series, Experimental Design, Generalized Linear Models, decision trees, gradient boosting
