POSITION PROFILE

This position offers an introduction into legal conflicts and risk management. You will be working within a large team environment on site within a law firm. You have direct interaction with the Ricoh staff on site as well as with the personnel of the firm. The role will require your ability to work independently and under tight deadlines. You will have a manager that you report to, but there are several other stakeholders or "customers" that will make requests of you on a daily basis.

This position will complete the day-to-day tasks of completing client requests for the Lateral Team. As part of the lateral team, this position will be responsible for creating the requests for the analyst to process. This position must process requests in a time sensitive manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates requests for analyst to process.
  • Ensure accurate look-up process based on client
  • Enters information into firm Records Management system
  • Coordinates requests for Lateral Team
  • Conducts data entry and works directly with counsel.
  • Create new client files as per firm process
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Enters client-matter information into firm records and accounting system (only pertains to client conflict checks)

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • High School diploma with 2 to 3 years of related work experience
  • Law firm experience a plus ( Experience interacting with law firm employees)
  • Ability to type 45 WPM
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience using office equipment (fax machine, phone, copier)
  • Ability to analyze information for client decision
