POSITION SUMMARY:

The CT Technologist will obtain quality diagnostic CT images for interpretation by the radiologist. Assists with clerical duties, and possesses knowledge of computers RIS, PACS.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Work Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00am- 7:30pm, Monday 7:30pm-7:00am

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in both radiography(R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Licensure by the State of Florida Department of Health, Office of Radiation Control
  • Current Basic Life Support, AHA
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS, and PACS)
  • Auditory and visual acuity to properly perform imaging tests and procedures; manual dexterity necessary to operate imaging equipment and computer applications
