Corporate Counsel Opportunity in Corporate Headquarters with Arrow Legal Team
At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Counsel in our Centennial, Colorado corporate headquarters. This position provides timely transactional expertise to support the organization by delivering creative solutions supporting the Company's contractual goals in a fast-paced, performance-driven, customer-focused, collaborative environment. The role requires an accomplished individual who has proven track record of negotiating complex deals, is comfortable being out of the "comfort zone," and who enjoys having a seat at the table to help the business make right decisions, enabling our strategic goals.
Reporting to our VP, Legal Affairs this position will be responsible for:
Participates in the deal process from start to finish to ensure that Arrow's best interests are represented, and that through contracts we maintain an appropriate balance between reasonable risk and growth goals.
Analyzes and effectively negotiates contract terms that support our business objectives, while complying with laws relevant to service outsourcing and consistent with Arrow.
Independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and templates in support of the business including supplier, customer, reseller, credit, and other commercial agreements.
Provide clear, concise, and practical legal and commercial advice and counsel to business teams on a wide array of business and contractual issues while coordinating with other legal team members and stakeholders as necessary to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Partner with the business to successfully drive the initiatives they are championing and to provide overall support for execution of commercial strategy.
Coordinate with other legal team members and company stakeholders to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Partner with contract managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management of Arrow's commercial agreements including: legal oversight, some supervision and developing creative legal solutions to complex commercial negotiations.
Conduct trainings for business and field locations on best practices and other contract or legal topics.
Conduct training sessions for internal team members on procedures and other contract or legal topics, as necessary.
Other matters as appropriate.
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum seven to ten years of relevant transactional experience in a top tier law firm or corporate law department, including experience in the distribution industry.
Broad transactional background and significant experience in commercial and corporate law.
Proven ability to drive business forward and achieve results, while managing risk and protecting the company.
Demonstrate eagerness and ability to learn industry, business, and operational matters quickly.
Able to effectively manage tight timelines and balance competing priorities.
Exhibit exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Team player with highly developed interpersonal skills.
Being a highly effective, practical lawyer with a track record of value creation is desired.
Acute attention to detail and ability to multi-task in an evolving corporate culture.
JD from a top-tier accredited law school and licensing to practice law in CO or any US jurisdiction.
