NASCAR Event Management seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Weekly Operations based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

This position is responsible for managing marketing programs and special projects within the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support partners and track promoters on a day-to-day basis to facilitate the company's programs at weekly series racetracks across North America.
  • Directly manage logistics and fulfillment of deliverables for marketing programs, as well as directly manage logistics of track related marketing materials.
  • Plan and develop sponsor re-cap presentations, business meetings, marketing collateral and banquet - related activities.
  • Oversee weekly pre-event and post-event calls regarding sponsorship and event nights with track promoters.
  • Visit weekly tracks during event weekends with promoter, acting as the company's liaison, observing the racing program, and facilitating at-track company programs as needed.
  • Plan, develop, and assist with facilitating various events during Daytona speed weeks and year-end awards activities
  • Manage all aspects of the Series Champions' and other award winners' schedules and appearances for weekly awards program.
  • Travel to awards for weekly and touring series and additional industry trade shows.
Required skills / experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience in Marketing, Public Relations or Business Administration.
  • Racing industry experience, specifically short-track experience preferred.
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel 20%, including weekends; could involve international travel.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and passion for marketing and sports.
