Advises undergraduate students participating in Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) Programs. The incumbent is responsible for the promotion, support, recruitment, retention, and provision of services to students utilizing OMA services, which includes discussion of academic, professional, and personal goals. Additionally, assistance with tracking progress toward and completion of graduation requirements, career counseling, providing information about financial aid, tutoring, information about admission to graduate school, and other activities that align with objectives of OMA programming. This position will also advise the student organizations related to women's affairs such as Feminist Collective (FemCo), Minority Women's Association, and Women of Standard. This position will coordinate programs/activities with The Women's Faculty Council, Staff Advisory Council, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate College, and other campus units, and internal and external related organizations.

Position requires a valid Driver's License.

*Occasional after-hours outreach programs or field trips required.

*8am-5pm Monday-Friday, frequent nights and some weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Higher Education, EducationalAdministration, Psychology, Counseling or related field. Five years of experience in a comparable position.

Administrative experience that could include budgetaryauthority or similar levels of responsibility with unit programs and/or studentgroups; supervisory experience to include interviewing, training anddevelopment, etc. of employees and/or student leaders; or coordination ofspecial projects. Previous experience in programs or other entities providing services tounderrepresented populations in higher education. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, humanrelations skills, and sensitivity to the needs of the individuals fromunderrepresented populations.
