Purpose & Scope: The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the coordination and administration of customer proposals, order processing and product returns. Manages assigned customer accounts to maximize business growth and sustainment. Ensures contract compliance to customer requirements on proposals and orders. Possess strong coordinating and organization skills and the ability to prioritize ever changing customer needs.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Customer service, communications and relationship management for assigned accounts
  • Contract management, administration, and compliance including negotiation and management of scope of work, terms and conditions, LTA’s, non-disclosure agreements, ongoing compliance, changes, etc.
  • Monitor, management, and resolution of directed changes, cancellations, terminations, and associated claims
  • Order acknowledgement, processing, modifications, and maintenance of contract files
  • Support functional departments as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Prepare, submit, and manage RFPs/RFQs including qualifying opportunities, strategy development, cost estimating, pricing strategy, management approvals, submittals, follow-ups, and closing
  • Provide booking forecasts, histories, and analyses
  • Leadership ability of internal teams for resolution of customer issues, problem solving, and process improvements
  • Coordinate product returns, repairs, and warranty claims
  • Track/report customer & program news
  • Coordinates customer visits and meetings

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business preferred) OR
  • Associate’s Degree and 2 years of experience in sales, customer service and negotiation OR
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of experience in sales, customer service and negotiations
  • Must have strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, good analytical and evaluation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be results oriented and customer focused
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Contract administration
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, NNPI and ITAR
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • Familiarity of technical and/or manufactured products
