Job Description
Within GM, Global Connected Services (GCS) and Customer Experience (CX) focus on providing world class customer experiences and maximizing the value delivered by connected vehicle services such as OnStCan ar, SiriusXM and the MyBrand App. The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) operates to provide analytics, data and business intelligence support to businesses across the company. The CDAO Business Facing Team leverages both business and technical knowledge to deliver value to CX. This position will partner with the Contact Center team to deliver data and analytic support to deliver best-in-class experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- In this role you will collaborate with business and IT leaders to develop plans for analytic projects that solve business problems and can be operationalized
- to drive tangible business value.
- You will translate the needs of business customers to technical requirements for Data Scientist, Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams - this means knowing enough of both the business side and technical side to be effective, diving into data as necessary.
- You will help create work related to strategy, roadmap, critical metric definition, reporting and dashboards.
- You will drive analytical projects from conception to completion with high velocity and quality, be cognizant of status, roadblocks and pace of project throughout and escalate as necessary to ensure success and on-time delivery to business partners.
- You will deliver data-driven insights and 'tell the story' that enables strategic and operational decisions.
- You will mentor others and handle project finances.
- You will continuously enable to new solution trends and develop the skills for self and enable the practice to build the skills.
Additional Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications- •10 or more years in a leadership role, with at least 5 leading analytics in a contact center
•At least 7 years of hands on experience with BI and other Advanced Analytics methods
•A proclivity for quantitative concepts, including academic/professional experience in one or more of the following fields: computer science, mathematics, finance, statistics, physics, engineering, bio-statistics, cognitive or neurosciences, behavioral economics, econometrics.
•Strong business domain knowledge - customer experience, marketing research, business analytics, marketing data, automotive and understanding the exponential change within this domain is paramount to success
•Ability to develop & maintain relationships with business stakeholders across GCS and CX, partially through accountability, following up on requests and delivering on commitments. Have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success.
•Familiarity of BI tools: Excel, Reporting Tool Consumption (Cognos, Tableau)
•Thrives in a collaborative atmosphere and believe in the power of innovation through differing view points
