Your Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager for CapEx and Capacity Planning, the Construction Program Manager for the Network Expansion is responsible for delivering the facilities of an expansion site safely, on time, and to the specifications of all stakeholders. The program manager works as a collaborative team member on project scoping, URS development, release for proposals, vendor selection, validation, and project supervision with the overall objective of driving high quality business results.

  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the expansion site
  • Ensure overall job site safety, partnering with EHS lead, to ensure zero injuries
  • Be the single point of contact for construction inquiries, including management of ECO's
  • Partner with strategy team to deliver the construction objectives on budget
  • Manage the engineering, design, and installation for major process utilities (water, air, nitrogen, vacuum etc.)
  • Be a key contributor on plant layout, clean room design, material flow etc.
  • Lead communications related to construction related activities
  • Lead project teams through inception, scoping, URS development, RFP, vendor selection, and release to manufacturing
  • Provide organizational support to EHS, facilities, and engineering groups through factory acceptance tests and validation
  • Work collaboratively with industrial engineering to understand the needs of the site's manufacturing departments
  • Provide support to facilities and engineering after projects RTM, including follow up and closure of project IOU's
  • Ensure timely communication of critical issues regarding project schedule and cost is provided to plant and business management

Who You Are:

Minimum qualifications:
  • BS degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Advanced degree (MS, MBA) a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing setting with proven track record of successful project closure and performance

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience driving successful projects that have resulted in favorable business outcomes
  • Experience working with EHS, facilities, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding and experience with OSHA, ISO & FDA regulations
  • Black Belt or Green Belt a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through influence in a matrixed environment
  • Proven strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly up and down
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Ability to manage in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Able to prioritize workload effectively to drive project focus
  • Requires confidence and experience to drive effective, pragmatic and risk-based decisions
  • High intellectual horsepower and proven problem-solving ability; strong decision maker
  • Collaborative and motivated team player always looking to share best practices
  • Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo in a respectful/professional manner

Travel to other domestic locations in New England will be required
