Position Summary

Position will be the liaison between internal, external and regulatory auditors and YKK APA business managers. Other responsibilities will be to act as our contact with auditors in establishing walkthroughs and testing with the main purpose to prevent audit scope creep and to identify potential audit issues early. Ensure our compliance framework is strictly complied with across the entire organization. Areas of responsibility will be Financial Controls (i.e. internal audits) JSOX, Sales Tax, Annual Reports, and Business Licenses.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure JSOX controls are optimized, implemented and enforced for each business process.
  • Act as liaison between external and internal auditors. Work with auditors to reach agreement on scope and testing strategy. Ensure appropriate resolution and agreement during each phase of the annual audit process including documentation, walkthroughs and testing.
  • Recommend and track remediation strategies and issues.
  • Responsible for insuring company is timely filing all sales tax, property tax, business licenses and annual reports.
  • Understand policies and procedures regarding areas listed above and when needed recommend updates

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university
  • 0-3 year eaxperience with auditing, preferred
  • Familiar with control testing and walkthrough, preferred
  • Strong probelm-solving skills
  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
