About the Role

We're looking for a Competitive Intelligence (CI) Manager to accelerate and scale Wrike's competitive enablement efforts and support our global customer-facing organization. The CI manager will drive competitive story telling, positioning, content strategy to take an effective and impactful offense position right from the very first engagement with our brand. You will enable Wrike's sales teams to develop a competitive DNA that helps compete effectively in a hyper competitive marketplace. This involves powerful messaging, regular training, and deal support. You will also work closely with the product marketing and sales enablement teams and stakeholders across the business to develop and roll-out competitive programs, develop clear competitive differentiation, and other competitive response messaging. Additionally, the CI Manager will support and attend analyst briefings, prepare custom analyses for one-off customer requests and present updates to executives.

  • A deep and sustained understanding of the evolving Collaborative Work Management market with a focus on translating industry trends into content and training that can be leveraged by Wrike and Citrix sales teams to educate prospects and decision makers.
  • A deep understanding of the Wrike offering and competing and alternative offerings in the marketplace at a technical and strategic levels to develop effective messaging and positioning across all stages in the funnel
  • Develop keen insights into the products and product strategies of Wrike's main competitors and deliver accurate, timely, unbiased and contextual analysis as a subject matter expert.
  • Provide actionable sales tools, training, and consultative engagement to serve the needs of the field (battle cards, comparison tables, objection handling, presentations, etc.)
  • Provide tangible marketing campaign support to serve the needs of the fields
  • Utilize and further develop internal and external programs to gather competitive insights that drive our competitive response including Win/Loss interviews
About You

  • Have 3+ years of product marketing, solution engineering, compete experience or a combination of all three
  • 3+ years of experience with competitive research and developing a competitive response
  • B2B software experience
  • Technical background with an ability to evaluate and develop deep knowledge of SaaS technologies
  • Good coaching skills to enable scalable competitive enablement
  • History of productive collaboration with product and sales
  • Strong storytelling skills delivering impactful messages through simple messages is a must
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel 10-20% (mostly inter-office travel when needed)
