Are you our next Compensation Manager?

This position is eligible for relocation and a hybrid remote office schedule.

This position pays a salary that is commensurate upon experience with an annual target bonus.

As the Compensation Manager you will manage the global compensation function. You will engage significantly with cross-functional teams to manage ongoing compensation activities including job evaluations, pay analyses, market reviews, and ad-hoc requests. You will be responsible for all aspects of program management, reporting, administration, change management, technology, training, communication, funding, and compliance as well as the maintenance of employee classifications and safeguards for ensuring non-discriminatory pay practices. Scope includes support of compensation strategy development. In addition, this role will liaise with the Executive Compensation Manager for programs that overlap with senior leadership roles within the organization.

What will you do?

• Develop and implement compensation programs ensuring appropriate change management, technology, training, and communications support.
  
• Partner with the Manager, Executive Compensation for programs that touch director-level employees and above.
  
• Track program spend, trend and forecasts based on changing employee demographics and economic leading indicators.
  
• Generate program effectiveness reporting for the enterprise and initiates continuous improvement feedback into program design, process design and communications.
  
• Co-lead the annual performance and compensation review process in coordination with Talent.
  
• Plan and implement compensation actions related to reductions in force, M&A or other extraordinary business events.
  
• Oversee the underlying processes that support compensation programs and processes including job documentation and classification, job evaluation, market pricing and salary structures.
  
• Maintain the efficiency, accuracy and integrity of processes, in accordance with the compensation manual, governance requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley key controls.
  
• Create actionable insights into Mosaic compensation practices and benchmarking against competitor, agriculture and mining sector and general industry practices.
  

What do you need for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required
  
• Bonus if your major was in Business, Finance or Human Resources
  
• 7+ years of compensation experience
  
• 2+ years of compensation leadership experience preferred
  
• Well-developed experience in compensation analysis and supervisory roles in large, preferably global companies
  
• Base pay program design, including salary structures, merit guidelines and compliance
  
• Annual incentive design, administration and communication
  
• Compensation reporting, analytics and effectiveness measurement
  
• Experience in executive compensation or human resources, stock plan administration, deferred compensation and Compensation Committee experience preferred
  
• Broad and deep understanding of executive compensation theory, principles and practices to formulate design and mix of program elements preferred
  
• Demonstrated project management, consultative, and process management skills
  
• Ability to manage outsourced service providers and other vendors
  
• Ability to interpret statistical analysis and translate into actionable information
