Purpose

Supporting the comms function at Reece USA, this role develops effective written, presentation, video and photographic materials, printed collateral, communications planning and collaborative relationships with the network to drive enhanced Team Member engagement and understanding of the company's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the comms department to provide company-wide internal communications, expertise and advice including executing on our communication strategy, materials and plans.
  • Lead the development of monthly/quarterly Division and Support Center communications, including working with C-level Team on videos and key messaging.
  • Responsible for regular (daily/weekly) updates to internal comms channels including but not limited to screen savers, digital signage, Workplace, and the intranet.
  • Provide creative thinking around how to continuously improve the comms (content, channels, etc.)
  • Develop dynamic and engaging content and channels that motivate and inform team members including video, photography, presentations and written materials.
  • Serve as a contact for internal graphic design-related requests, including flyers, new branch opening materials, line cards, Quarterly Theme documents and other needs.
  • Manage the communication planner, supporting the regular rhythm of the Communications team, ensuring the team is working as effectively as possible.
  • Ensure new initiatives and changes to company strategy or policy are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the Reece organization
  • Complete projects assigned by other members of the Marketing and Communications team (Marketing, Digital) as needed.
  • Implement all relevant company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Adopt safe work practices.

Key COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Communications background in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Utilize independent judgement when leading company projects.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in assignments, but knows when to ask questions when necessary.
  • Comfortable interacting with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Graphic design, photography and video experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-2 years in a comms coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Proficient with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro and / or Camtasia) and photography.

Preferred Qualifications*
  • 1-3 years in a comms coordinator or similar role.
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Highly proficient with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro and / or Camtasia) and photography.
