Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Programmer in Torrance, CA.

As a CNC Programmer you will:

• Complete complex machining projects for automotive, aerospace, and 3D printing industries
• Create 3-axis and 5-axis milling programs for first article parts and prototypes.
• Analyze new parts to develop an overall machining strategy
• Use CAD software to design tools, jigs, and fixtures
• Apply knowledge of tooling best practices
• Implement novel fabrication techniques using CNC machining

This is a full time opportunity

• Monday - Friday, possible Saturday
• Multiple Shifts Available

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong programming and CAM skills (NX or Fusion360, or SolidWorks preferred)
• Familiarity with Siemens, Haas, and Heidenheim controllers preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, performing light fabrication, and using manual mills/lathes.
• Able to use basic metrology tools (calipers, bore gauges, etc.), read drawings, and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• General understanding of automotive systems preferred

Pay Rate: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
