Become a part of the team as a Clinician in the DMH Flex Support Program at Behavioral Health Network!

  • Responsibilities: What you will do
    • Provide high quality services for children/youth and families.
    • Maintain a caseload of youth by FTE as determined by the program.
    • Convene and co-facilitate with family and youth during Family Team meetings including creation and reviews of the Treatment plan and updates the treatment plan to reflect the changing needs of the child/youth and family
    • Complete clinical assessment of youth referred.
    • Participate in Utilization Review with DMH.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and other screening tools; conducts diagnostic assessments and Individualized Action Plans for referred children and youth.
    • Work directly and maintain regular and consistent communication with the child/youth, the family, and team to identify strengths and needs of the youth and family, and strategies for meeting their needs.
    • Identify and actively assists the child/youth and family to obtain available medically-necessary services

Clinician's at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in a mental health related field.
  • Must be licensed, or license-eligible and actively working towards licensure.
  • 2 years' experience in working with families preferred
  • Must have knowledge of mental illness as manifested in children and adolescents and treatment techniques
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
  • Experience in navigating any of the child/family-serving systems
  • Experience advocating for family members who are involved with behavioral health systems
