The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 4 is a 23-bed medical unit which primarily cares for infectious disease, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and lung transplant patients. There is a comprehensive & collaborative team of providers, patient care coordinators, nurses, social workers, customer service representatives, & unit associates. The unit also has the opportunity to enjoy great relations with support disciplines and departments including home health, pharmacy, nutrition, transport, and environmental care. There is a nurturing environment for new staff with specialized education for HIV and pulmonary diseases.
Shifts: 8 Hour Night Shifts
Qualifications:
The Johns Hopkins Hospital SOARING Program prepares certified nursing assistants to practice in an advanced direct patient care role.
