Position Summary
The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for the primary risk identification and mitigation processes throughout Medical Faculty Associates and for MFA-PIC insured providers as directed by the Director of Clinical Risk Management. With the information gathered, the Clinical Risk Manager analyzes loss and other data sources, and develops risk mitigation activities, metrics for monitoring these activities, and supports the claim reporting function when risk issues are identified that could lead to a liability claim against an individual insured and/or MFA.

Qualifications
Education
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of nursing, medical, or other clinical experience, preferably hospital-based.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, quality improvement, professional liability claims, legal, or the equivalent combination of experience is required.
Experience working with electronic medical records, hospital operational policies and procedures.
