Responsibilities

Provides professional management to the operations of the Center for Family Health in support of medical care as directed by the Director of Operations, medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Coordinates patient care planning with other departments and centers as appropriate. Directly supervises Front Office Team Leader, Back Office Supervisor/Back Office, employees and subordinate supervisors in the Center for Family Health Clinic. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Plan, organize and supervise the work of others to achieve organizational goals. Oversees Patient flow in the Center and creates staff assignments accordingly. Monitors budgetary items and prepares related reports. Prepares and or coordinates activities that help to improve operations and/or change service delivery. Reports safety concerns, incidents to Director of Operations. Responsible for ensuring productivity reports, statistics, notification forms and, patient charges are done. Preforms other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates Degree required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience and one (1) year medical office experience required.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or public administration, or related field
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish
  • Knowledge of insurance payers including Medi-Cal, Medicare and State funded program, CDPH, Title 22, DNC and CMS requirements
  • Extensive Practice Management Experience in a multidisciplinary delivery system and knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes preferred.
