RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Client Accounts Coordinator.The Client Accounts Coordinator will perform and ensure the maintenance process for new matter set-up of clients and matters including: fee arrangements, task and activity codes, VAT compliance, cost exception rates, payor, address, and overall formats. This role will also be responsible for general maintenance including client and matter database, engagement letter tracking, matter reopening and closing, address changes, client/matter name changes, and billing lawyer name changes. Additional duties of the Client Accounts Coordinator:
  • Review and implement outside counsel guidelines and engagement letters from clients to ensure billing terms and conditions are set-up and executed in Accounting database and are consistent with our understanding of the client; Ensure proper Senior Lawyer and Business Committee approvals are obtained
  • Maintain iManage with new business forms, engagement letters, waiver letters, non-disclosure letters, and other documentation relevant to matter preservation
  • Responsible for the accurate set-up and maintenance of client files; Be well versed on client billing requirements and matter-specific structures
  • Responsible for employee set-ups and personal accounts, including understanding of the Firm's various rate scales and modeling the appropriate rate assignment
  • Responsible for the daily distribution of the -New Files- memo and the -Confidential Files- memo
  • Perform research and respond to inquiries from billing partners, clients, Client Accounts Manager and others, as requested


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years of client/billing experience
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Elite 3
  • Hands on experience with MS Excel
