What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and deliver all phases of the Claims Department curriculum development. You will do so by working with claims personnel to identify specific areas where training is needed and develop and present training programs to ensure claims are processed according to Claims Best Practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the claims system and policy contracts is needed, as you will deliver monthly classroom training to all new claims employees.  
  • Organize and facilitate existing training programs, as well as maintain training records on all claims personnel. 
  • Develop online training programs using software such as Articulate/Storyline.
  • Monitor employee progress and the overall effectiveness of the training programs, as well as work with Quality Assurance Claim Auditors on identified training issues. 

What Does It Take To Join Our Team:

  • College degree or equivalent plus five years of relevant experience.
  • Property and Casualty claims adjusting experience is strongly preferred.
  • You must have the ability to develop an adult learning curriculum, and have strong presentation skills in order to deliver training.
  • You must possess an in depth knowledge of all facets of claims handling, including interpersonal and technical, (policies, liability investigations, physical damage, property, bodily injury) and have knowledge of tort law.
  • Some overnight travel may be required. A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.
