Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Claims Examiner. This person will review and adjudicate paper/electronic claims. The Claims Examiner determines whether to return, deny or pay claims following organizational policies and procedures.

Required Experience:

1 years' of health industry or relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews claim and determines denial, acceptance, or a need for further investigation
  • Recognizes and reports issues and escalates, as necessary
  • Reviews existing claims for errors and omissions
  • Interprets and applies all business rules, policies, and contract
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
