Role: Chief of Staff, Slalom Denver

Compensation Range: $121,000 - $182,000

Who You'll Work With

The Chief of Staff role in Denver is about servant leadership and enabling our people to deliver the very best work for our clients. As part of our Denver senior leadership team your role is integral to our continued success and growth within the Denver market.

What You Will Do

Serve as a Trusted Advisor and Coach

  • Act as a voice of the GM to help lead, guide, and manage a high-performing team.
  • Be a sounding board/advise on confidential matters and maintain a high level of discretion.
  • Serve as a coach to people across all levels of the market on navigating issues
  • Draft and/or review office-wide GM communications and prepare executive presentations
  • Have an ear to the ground on emerging trends, hot topics, challenge areas and either work through resolution independently or provide GM visibility where appropriate
Orchestrate a High Performing Denver Leadership Team
  • Define and run an effective rhythm of business (RoB)
  • Partner with GM on key organizational changes, leadership alignment, and process improvements to ensure vision and strategy are top-of-mind.
  • Keep the GM and Senior Leadership team accountable for their commitments while helping keep reports accountable to their key deliverables and results
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the leadership team to facilitate efficient decision-making
  • Define agenda and facilitate weekly Leadership team meetings and bi-annual offsites
  • Define agenda and facilitate quarterly Senior Director meetings
Business Operations Management
  • Ensure alignment, coordination, and accountability across key business operations processes and functions
  • Be familiar with all components of the Denver office and have a strong working knowledge of internal operations
  • Act as or assign a liaison with broader Slalom on operational processes, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Drive quarterly rhythm of business (RoB) activities i.e. operations call, quarterlies, SOTOs, leadership meetings
Strategic Initiatives, Slalom Alignment, and Communication
  • Work directly with our GM to manage and drive key strategic initiatives across the business.
  • Act as liaison with Finance and other corporate services teams to drive the annual business planning process and work closely with the leadership team to shape strategic priorities.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders across the Denver office, the West region, and broader Slalom to align business objectives and work effectively together.

  • Strong communications skills written and verbal
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of professional experience with the majority being in consulting
  • At least 3 years of being actively engaged within the Denver local market
  • Existing relationships with the Denver local market leadership team
  • Deep appreciation for the Denver local market culture
