Merakey is seeking a Full Time Dual Diagnosis (Mental Health and IDD) Service Coordinator serving Summit County, Ohio. The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) program offers support to children and adults who have both a serious mental illness and a developmental disability. Participants receive counseling, physical healthcare, support finding housing, assistance during crises, and help dealing with other issues in their daily lives.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Recovery Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, and skill transferring recovery treatment and support plans for adults and youth with an Intellectual Developmental Disability and mental health diagnosis. The Recovery Coordinator provides intensive therapeutic services in all types of settings, including but not limited to community living arrangements, schools, community settings, natural support residents, etc. The Recovery Coordinator, in collaboration with other members of the treatment team, implements and transfers skills identified in the recovery treatment and support plan that utilizes a person-centered approach.

Merakey offers a continuum of care in behavioral health (includes mental health and addictive diseases), integrating services in both community and site-based settings. These services provide a wide range of recovery focused treatment, services, and supports for children and adults.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another human service related field with no less than 3 years of experience in the behavioral health field

• Preferred but not required, minimum one year of experience in a mental health setting and/or one year working in a developmental disability setting

• Possesses or is able to obtain all necessary clearances and background checks to work with designated consumers

• Valid OH driver's license with a clean driving record
