Overview

Reading Hospital/Tower Health is seeking 2 Noninvasive Cardiologists to join our team of 16 Cardiologists which includes 3 electrophysiologists, 4 interventionalists, and a large support staff of advanced practitioners and nurses. Reading Hospital is a 714-bed hospital that was ranked among America's 50 best hospitals in 2022 and has the highest volume of emergency department visits in Pennsylvania. Reading Hospital has a long-standing and growing commitment to teaching evidenced by a wide range of residency and fellowship programs. The practice directs the cardiology fellowship which will have 15 fellows in 2022. Community demand for cardiology services is very high offering a full patient panel to new physicians. The practice provides a full range of noninvasive cardiology services including inpatient and outpatient consultations, echo, stress echo, nuclear stress, PYP, TEE, 3-D echo, and cardiac CTA. Candidates with advanced imaging experience in cardiac MRI who may be interested in building an MRI program are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary

The Noninvasive Cardiologist will perform a full scope of duties/responsibilities including inpatient rounding, Cardiology imaging interpretation, and outpatient appointments. The inpatient service is predominantly consultative as The Reading Hospital has a large hospitalist service which admits most patients.
