Job title: Business Process Architects Worksite address: Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, 3050 Spruce St, St. Louis, Missouri 63103 Job Description: The Business Process Architect reviews and assesses computer and information system needs, specifically working with SAP Finance and Controlling modules, and ensures that all related business functions are integrated, operating efficiently, and operating effectively. Review and assess computer and information system needs of assigned business unit regarding resources and deployment of SAP Finance and Controlling ("FICO") modules;Analyze business needs and functional best practices to support and grow SAP FICO modules;Develop and implement SAP FICO modules by utilizing a strong technical knowledge of SAP in the Finance areas of General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Banking and Tax (including direct tax and indirect tax), deep understanding of the integration of SAP FICO with other cross functions and non-SAP applications;Understand the overall operative over business models and ensure all integrated functional modules of SAP are configured optimally and aligned well for implementation;Evaluate emerging technology solutions and applicability to support an effective SAP FICO ecosystem environment to meet the demands of the business for information;Design and convert data Using BODS SAP toll for data migration from different Legacy systems like Scala and Oracle Sap older versions to S4HAN SAP system;Design the test scripts for SAP FICO/FSCM in test lab of HPALM for the testing process and project implementation;Report development in BI & BPC and process design for IFRS Global reporting for the large project across the different regions like USA/Asia/Europe for local reports; andDevelop/Design dashboard report in the JIRA/Snow tools to tract the project progress and find the roadblocks and implement prevent actions to implement and support projects as per the project time lines. Job requirements: Employer requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related field and six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience in a finance accounting occupation. Additionally, the candidate must have: Demonstrated ability with implementing custom solutions within SAP by working cross functionally between Finance professionals and development consultants to meet business needs gained through six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience;Demonstrated ability to align business needs with industry best practices gained through six (6) years of progressively more responsible SAP application work experience within a corporate environment; andDemonstrated knowledge of cross functional integration between Finance and other cross functions including Sales and Distribution, Procurement, Production, and Projects within SAP gained through the completion of at least two (2) SAP implementation projects. All years of experience may be gained concurrently. Local telecommuting permitted 2 to 3 days per week. 7% domestic travel and 5% international travel required per year.
