Day Shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm
On-call / weekend work required
Exempt, Pay Grade: MF
Provides leadership and hands on support to the culinary team ensuring the effective and efficient operation of main kitchen food service and production areas by supervising and coordinating activities of the production, catering staff, cooks, and all other main kitchen employees as assigned. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program. Responsibilities include scheduling and creation of daily job assignments for staff, inventory, purchasing, forecasting and budgeting as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience, or graduate level business degree experience or training to support fiscal analysis responsibilities.
Evaluate and manage financial models and applications including internal controls and staffing model; oversee development of food service budgets for the Johns Hopkins Hospital within the scope of the assigned functional area; oversee cash reconciliation and unit charging; work independently and meet aggressive time frames; manage several projects simultaneously; responsible for overall financial report accuracy and timeliness; prepare oral and/or written presentations to senior and executive management; provide high level of analytical abilities to analyze purchasing trends, company product lines, and new product introduction strategies. Advanced interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers and vendors.
