Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a talented Business Analyst as a full-time remote employee.Daily Responsibilities:
Business Analyst will be evaluating business processes for efficiency, usability, and replacement
Ensuring that QA processes and procedures are being implemented properly from a business point of view
Perform Quality Assurance validations on the implemented attributes like UAT using Mainframes, Java, or Web Applications within SMG3
As a Business Analyst, you will be eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, Use Cases, business analysis and task and workflow analysis
Creating Epic, Story Tasks and User Stories and strategizing the impact of requirements on different platforms and applications
Translating business requirements into optimal solution design
Creating required project artifacts, including but not limited to Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) as well as supporting documentation, such as process flows and/or data mapping
Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones
Business Analyst will be analyzing the performance of business rules using SAS (EG & Base) to query databases
Providing pre/post implementation data analysis and reporting using SAS
Providing oversight to the credit risk line of business and its risk controls ensuring reliability and compliance with risk management policies and frameworks and identifying dependency between the decisioning systems
Analyzing and coordinating business activities and operational resources for various large Information Technology projects using Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies
4+ years of experience in consumer credit risk analysis or Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or in a Mathematical discipline; 4+ years of experience consumer credit risk analysis
Large enterprise experience in banking or financial industry
Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk, and/or compliance is preferred
Advanced business acumen and attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced research, investigation skills and good judgement skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools including skills to develop analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, or other business intelligence and analysis software applications for data segmentation, aggregation, and statistics (E.g. SPS or Visual Basic)
