This is an individual contributor role and the person in this position must live within 50 miles of our Connecticut Elevance Health location. Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
The Business Info Developer Sr is responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Uses complex program languages to extract data.
- Manage file load and transfer process of external datasets.
- Provide reporting support for the CTBH contract deliverables.
- 30% of time File Load Processing, 50% of time SQL Developing and 20% of time Crystal report development
- Programs and writes queries and reports.
- Develops and executes data mining analyses.
- Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
- Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related programming experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in standard Business Information tools and complex programming/query languages required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Preferred experience with crystal reports, Oracle/SQL server programming language and business intelligence.
- Must have knowledge of data warehousing, relational databases design and tuning.
- Preferred experience with behavioral health/SUD terminology.
- Preferred experience utilizing claims, eligibility, and pharmacy-based data.
- Preferred experience with Federal/CMS reporting.
- Ability to collaborate across functional teams.
- Ability to plan/schedule/communicate/manage time sensitive deliverables.
- Must be detail oriented and self-starting and statistical savvy.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
