BIM Specialist

Our BIM (Building Information Modeling) department is growing and we're looking to add a specialist to the team!

Responsibilities

• Develops Revit content including parametric families, details, and schedules.
• Assists BIM Manager in the execution of BIM process improvement initiatives.
• Develops training documentation.
• Performs Tier-2 Revit support for design staff as needed.

Requirements

• A college degree in Design & Drafting Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction disciplines is preferred, but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience in operating in a BIM role at an Architecture, MEP, Structural, or related firm.
• 3+ years of experience creating parametric Revit families with formulas and conditional statements (If Then statements, parametric arrays, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge or Revit.
• Proficient with legacy CAD software and workflows such as AutoCAD.
• Able to take Architectural, MEP, and Structural design concepts and implement
• Can thoroughly perform quality control check on your own work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess drive to pursue continued education in BIM
• Passion about BIM and how it can be used to improve the productivity of those who work in design and construction.
• Has a co-worker is the client mentality.

Preferred

• Previous experience working with a major architecture or structural engineering consulting firm developing corporate standards and Revit assets.
• Mission Critical, Life Sciences, or Warehouse project experience is plus but no required.
• Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or other graphical programing software.
• Experience with Navisworks
