Role: Regional Billing Specialist



Purpose:



Following established company policies, Billing Specialists are responsible for the accurate and timely entry, extraction, and compilation of various records for customer contracts. They may also assists with invoice preparation. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position that works onsite at a branch location in the region they service (Florida).



Duties and Responsibilities:


* Billing Specialist will be a Regional position responsible for 3 branch locations (Pompano, Tampa, and Orlando).
* Efficiently use various computer systems and tools to enter, extract, and compile the records to support customer billing, such as timecards, purchase orders, invoices, sales tickets, etc.
* Accurately calculate amounts due for invoices.
* Assist with the preparation of invoices to customers.
* Post transactions to customer accounting records.
* Ensure fellow team members have the necessary and accurate information to follow-up on outstanding invoices.
* Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements and Qualifications


* Education:


* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification


* Experience:


* 2+ years previous experience in billing, invoicing or a similar role, such as payroll
* Prior experience crane or heavy equipment rental industry a plus


* Knowledge/Skills:


* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel
* Knack for a strong attention to detail
* Honed data entry skills
* Moderate level individual communication skills
