RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Benefits Coordinator.The Benefits Coordinator will manage all leave claim filing events including the distribution of leave application package and forms, coordination of medical review process, and communication of leave status to employee, supervisors, and/or managing partners or leave coordinators, and Payroll department. The Benefits Coordinator will also communicate leave information with all appropriate claim filing entities to facilitate timely and appropriate follow-up. Additional duties of the Benefits Coordinator include:
  • Oversee all leave tracking to include timely status updates and changes to the Human Resources Information System and associated leave tracking systems; Prepare and maintain monthly leave reports for Senior Management
  • Manage and review all requests for ergonomic accommodation
  • Assist with the administration of organization's health and welfare and retirement plans
  • Assist with coordination of Benefits Open Enrollment process as needed
  • Conduct Associate/Counsel orientations
  • Back up for staff orientation as needed
  • Assist with the completion of benefits surveys


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Workday
  • Hands on experience with Excel
  • Understanding of FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws
  • Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
  • Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
