INCREASED HIRING RATES! $25.50/hour with $ 1.50/hour facility differential plus shift differential for qualifying shifts for permanent positions.

DHHS is dedicated to a therapeutic, rehabilitative, and holistic approach to their care, and is in need of Behavior Technicians to help drive those efforts forward. We provide individualized treatment to high acuity youth, using a Applied Behavioral Analysis model. This position will, under general supervision, provide continuous intensive behavioral modification, trauma-focused interventions, residential care, custody, and supervision of the youth at the 24 hour state facility located in Lincoln, NE. We have full time, and on-call (temporary ) positions available!

Permanent full-time starting pay rate $25.50 PLUS $1.50/hour Facility Differential - Temporary on-call $24.00/hour plus additional $3/hour facility differential pay. Additional shift differential pay for 2nd shift and 3rd shifts.

Lincoln, NE

2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Examples of Work
• Direct care for youth with high acuity using trauma-focused interventions.
• De-escalation of verbal and physical aggression with inclusion of behavioral modification strategies.
• Continuous and intensive interventions to encourage skill building of life and communication skills.
• Direct implementation of continuous and intensive treatment plans and therapeutic activities using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Monitor and document daily behavior and progress of residents.
• Partner with medical providers, including the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, to ensure constant follow through of specific programming, behavioral modification strategies, and treatment plan.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. Related coursework/training experience in: behavioral sciences, counseling and guidance, rehabilitation/treatment services, education, nursing/patient care, delinquency prevention, criminal justice, or related area. Completion of: 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training; Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) competency assessment and exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board must be completed within 120 days of hire. RBT renewal competency assessment and application is required on an annual basis. A valid driver's license and ability to become an authorized vehicle driver for the State of Nebraska is also required.
