Description: Our client is currently seeking a Back End Engineer
The ideal candidate will have experience working with .NET 5 and experience working in smaller startup environments.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Regularly write and commit clean code, and help other team members do the same
  
• Act as a fully integrated team member by participating in daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  
• Take high-level initiatives and break them down into workable user stories
  
• Engage with the product team and key department stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, and requirements
• Mentor mid-tier engineers, providing them support where necessary Requirements & Experience
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in C# and Entity Framework or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Advanced experience with RESTful architecture and data interoperability
• Heavy experience with RDBMS and effective use of an ORM with appropriate patterns
• Familiarity with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with git and version control/code versioning systems.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD)
• Ability to recognize code smells and refactor where appropriate
