What We Are Looking For

Atlona is looking for experienced and dynamic product manager to lead its HDBase-T AV product lines. The Product Manager will be responsible for creating the vision and strategy for the next generation commercial AV product lines, defining and executing on the current and future product road map, supporting sales and customers, establish price models and price strategy, define and execute go-to-market strategy.

In this role, the product manager will collaborate with teams from Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing and Sales organizations, as well as Product Managers from other verticals. As part of the Product Management team, the individual will help develop, deliver and maintain the next generation of Atlona commercial products through business intelligence, market trends, customer inputs and financial analysis. This is a great opportunity to define, manage and launch new AV products that exhibit the pace and energy of a fast-growing startup environment, yet executed within a disciplined product organization.

What You Will Do

• Product Strategy and Execution: Develops, articulates and executes product strategy & roadmap, collaborates with account management and marketing teams to ensure alignment to launch a range of products.
  
• Product Lifecycle Management: Leads and executes all stages of the product lifecycle, including business case development and global/regional product launches.
  
• Technical and Application Experts: Provide application support for assigned products including technical collateral, Product Collateral, and Training. (
  
• Competitor Analysis: Leads competitor analysis activity including product Value Proposition, Competitive Landscape, Market sizing and share, and Pricing.
  
• Business and Operations Planning: Pricing, S&OP Forecasting, Inventory Management and provide cost inputs into Manufacturing Strategy. (10%)
  
• Customer Needs: Acts as a trusted advisor to understand and address the customers needs and inquiries.
  

What You Will Bring

• Required Degree: Undergraduate degree required in technical or business field.
  
• Years of Experience: 3-7 years
  
• Experience as a Product Manager in the Audio/Visual industry to include hands-on experience with commercial Audio-Visual devices: HDMI Switchers, Video Matrixes, HDBaseT extenders, Video Scalers, presentation switchers, etc.
  
• Knowledge of Audio DSP, audio over IP protocols including Dante and AES67, and conference audio processing protocols AEC, ANS, AGC.
  
• Working knowledge of IP protocols (TCP, UDP), IP address schemes: Multicast, Unicast and Layer3 network switchers
  
• Background in control systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX or any other is a plus
  
• Experience working with commercial AV system integrators, and AV consultants.
  
• Travels globally 10-25% to Panduit, Customer, and Supplier locations.
