Datasite's Business Enablement Team is looking for an individual to help implement and optimize testing of our applications. This individual will help drive the vision, roadmap, and layout the path to get there through their expertise in testing automation. Responsibilities include being an expert in testing, understanding current and future business processes of Datasite, facilitating testing, and helping ensure quality is achieved. Leverage strong communication and leadership skills to establish the direction of daily activities, ensure efficient processes, and create an overall highly efficient environment for Datasite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Convert manual quality scripts to automated scripts.

Provides input on schedule and accurate estimation of project deadlines.

Develop and test the performance of the system to improve overall user experience.
Develop and implement Testing suite software as specified in technical specifications/software design documentation.
Communicate with the development and support teams issues that were found and build test cases to expose weaknesses in the software.
Responsible for current Regression and validation with CICD & Smoke validation.
1 to 3 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
Creating and maintaining UI test automation frameworks
Experience in Selenium WebDriver
Experience in one of the Object-Oriented programming languages like Java, Ruby, C# etc.
Design and automate the scenarios using the existing automation frameworks built in house.
Experience working in a QA team responsible for the quality of the application developed.
Active participation in - Standups, Sprint Planning, Refinement meetings, Retrospections.
Define test automation strategies, and QA processes, observing industry best practices
Follow and adhere to the best practices of software test engineering, Agile methodology, QA practices and processes in the organization.
Own the deliverables such as Test Reports, Test Cases, Quality of the code, and the quality of the product tested
Be an active participant in all the CI/CD activities.
Effective communication with the Product/Engineering leads to triage the issues created by you and your peers and prioritizing the fixes.
Enhancing and improving the automation frameworks.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and diagnose a complex application.
Attention to detail and following issues to resolution.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Understanding various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
Have created automation scripts using one of the above-mentioned tools to setup and validate infrastructure & environments.
Able to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
