RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Automation QA to join their team. This person will be supporting the COM payments and PO team within COM and will be supporting the retirement of legacy applications as well as sterling implementation/upgrade. Their entire system is built on IBM sterling OMS and they recently upgraded from version 9 to version 10. The Automation QA will do coding within sterling written in java along with using springboot. From a QA standpoint, the application is very heavy backend focused so they are looking for backend API automation testers. Everything is also running in the cloud on PCF/GCP so cloud is a plus. They use javascript and java both to write test cases and postman for API testing. They really are looking for a Automation QA who has experience testing in complex environments and have the ability to problem solve and take initiative.REQUIREMENTS:
- Backend API automation experience (not UI) - very important since we are only supporting service APIs and not a UI
- Experience with Automated Postman test using javascript
- Knowledge of Java - this will help in developing test automations
- Analytical skills
- Self-starter/takes initiative
- Retail experience
- Jenkins
- Angular
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
