Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Automation Controls Engineer will have the opportunity to manage, design, fabricate, program, install, modify, and repair all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
You Will Have the Opportunity to:
- Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles.
- Generate electrical schematics and documentation necessary to install and troubleshoot control system and interface it to other system components.
- Perform PLC/HMI/Automation Controller programming with emphasis on program reliability, safety and ease of updated troubleshooting documentation.
- Perform in a manner to align with company/government safety requirements on all projects and tasks.
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
- In lieu of a degree, must have 5 years demonstrated track record as an Automation Technician or similar discipline.
