What You'll Do

Asa Automation Architect / Lead at Sogeti P&G unit Cincinnati you will have the opportunity to:

• Set up Test Management / Automation Framework
• Implement Test Best Practices
• Lead Testing Projects through all phases of software test life cycle
• • Perform automation framework assessment and setup roadmap for improving the maturity
  • Recommend new tools and support in performing tools POCs
  • Ability to develop new test automation framework
  • Continuous support to develop / enhance the existing automation framework
  • Define automation strategy approach for new & ongoing projects
  • Recommend new solutions approach for increasing automation footprint
  • Support in enabling automation team by providing trainings, job aids
  • Support automation team in resolving technical clarifications and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Working knowledge in one or more of the automation tools like UFT, Testcomplete, eggPlant etc.,
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with core JAVA/C# in writing effective automated tests using Selenium
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of automating backend tests for Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and Sybase
  • Hands on experience with testing ETL using automation
  • Experience in automating SOAP and REST Web Services testing
  • Ability to setup and execute mobile automation framework is a plus.
  • Hands on experience in Programming/Scripting languages like PHP, Python, Perl, Javascript, Ruby is a plus
  • Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo or other continuous integration is a plus
  • Git or other version control system is a plus
  • Work experience with offshore delivery model is a plus
  • Must Be US Citizen or Green Card

Minimum education qualification

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
• Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience working with Oracle Application testing suite including hands on experience using the test automation portion of the suite
• Experience working with offshore teams is preferred
