A Syracuse area company is seeking an Authorization Representative for a full-time opportunity.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Compensation: Up to $19.00 per hour to start, depending on experience (with performance raises offered) benefits available

Responsibilities:

• Obtaining authorizations from workers comp and private insurances for procedures/injections
• Responsible for scheduling, calls to insurance companies, calls with questions from internal staff and patients, and point of service collections

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of medical authorization experience
• Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma required
• Experience with EHR systems and strong computer skills
• Excellent communication, time-management, and detail-oriented skills
• Must be able to multi-task is a fast-paced setting
