VCA Salem Animal Hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Salem, Oregon.

Urgent Care is a growing need in the region and UC is a way to supplement the Emergency services we provide through our ER by filling demand for same day or next day non-emergent needs that arise, but can't be addressed by the DVMs in the area.

Our hospital was founded over 20 years ago, and our spacious facility is nestled in a scenic area adjacent to one of Salem's most vibrant commercial areas. Our UC veterinarians share space with the ER and GP divisions of our hospital and the departments enjoy a symbiotic relationship. Our senior support team members have years of experience under their belts and a commitment to helping you through our daily caseload using all of the diagnostic and treatment tools you need.

Our hospital is open 365 days a year, though our UC schedule may not be open every day. Our hospital schedule offers the flexibility for veterinarians to spread full-time hours over three, four, or five days. We also happily consider part-time schedules if desired.

Salem is a large enough city to offer a little of everything, yet small enough to be surrounded by agriculture and small town living. Located directly between Oregon's rugged coastal range and central Oregon's desert climate, Salem is a paradise for anyone focused on the outdoors.
