Job Description

Shearman & Sterling LLP is seeking to hire a mid-level associate to join its thriving Real Estate practice group in New York. This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of a major growth initiative for Shearman's Real Estate practice in the US and abroad, with the support of a well-respected platform with a strong international presence. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in real estate transaction documentation from a peer law firm. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and outstanding business judgment. Candidates must be admitted to practice in the State of New York.

Clients include real estate sponsors and developers, institutional and non-institutional investors and lenders, public and private funds, sovereign wealth funds, public agencies, and family offices. Clients rely on Shearman's deep experience in a wide range of real estate-related transactions and asset classes, which have included office, retail, multi-family, industrial, hotel, data center, resort, residential, senior and student housing, recreational, and mixed-use properties, across the US and globally.
