Work collaboratively with Henry Ford Health and other health systems' leadership teams, and facilitate negotiations of nursing professional development offerings provided by the CON.
  • Participate collaboratively with the Dean, the other members of the Dean's senior leadership team and college faculty on development and annual updating of the college's overall strategic plan and evaluation plan; lead/oversee implementation of administrative and operational projects and initiatives to achieve goals and objectives of the college's strategic plan.
  • Nurture effective, positive, and collaborative relationships across leaders, faculty, staff, and students within the CON community for optimal integrated functioning and promotion of highly effective and diverse teams that reflect commitment to DEI values.
  • Develop long and short-term strategies and annual reports and a regularly occurring cadence of reports that measure accomplishment of goals; provide expertise, analyses and interpretation of studies and college data to assist the Dean and Assistant/Associate Deans in decision-making, aligned with the strategic missions of the college, Office of Health Science, University, and professional expectations.
  • Develop special reports and analyses to support the Dean in decision-making about business best practices, etc.
  • Ensure the college performance metrics and evaluation plan align with the college's strategic plan and priorities.
  • Oversee the college's simulation lab to ensure appropriate funding for contemporary hardware, software and staff support for a state-of-the-art simulated clinical learning experience.
  • Assess and evaluate the CON learning lab and simulation center to assure efficient student utilization and full engagement with cutting edge technologies.
  • Oversee the development, coordination, and fiscal wellbeing of strategic nursing professional development initiatives in collaboration with the Professional Development Coordinator.
