Overview

Manufacturing saw blades and cutting tools from high-quality Swedish steel goes back as far as 1886. Since then, we at Bahco have been one of the key innovators in the bandsaw industry with our wide-ranging portfolio of bi-metal and carbide bandsaws.

This is a trainee sales position in the industrial bandsaw market. If you are mechanically inclined and looking to grow your career with a technical sales position, this will be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

Under supervision and direction of the National Technical Training and Production Bandsaw Manager, work a territory in the saw industry market
• Learn sales process by completing training program
• Attend sales calls with existing customers
• Observes sales process by shadowing existing Bandsaw Specialists
• Practices sales process by calling on existing accounts
• Helps grow new accounts within territory as a completion of training
• Support bandsaw in field product testing, within territory or region or nationally as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or ,technical diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 - 3 years in a trade preferred
• Self-starter and fast learner who can adapt to an ever-changing environment
• Strong technical skills
• Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and listen to the feedback of customers
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Tenacity to drive results and achieve established goals
• Flexible, conscientious, decisive, persistent, patient, excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, self-motivated
