What You Will Be Doing - Guide the subcontractors work to ensure flow and coordination under the supervision of the Superintendent
- Responsible for assisting Superintendent in recording all daily reports by providing daily man counts and work flow notes
- Responsible for monitoring misuse, damage, and theft on job site and field offices
- Attends weekly subcontractor meetings to review schedule, resolve conflicts, and provide weekly safety meetings
- Responsible for creating a positive working environment for all site personnel
- Assists in managing material on site to keep the site orderly
- Assist the Superintendent with scheduling and walking inspections
- Manage client punch walks and work with subcontractors to manage punch list quickly & efficiently
- Keeps updated records of progress relating to scheduling, cost, and budget
- Assists in any additional duties as requested by the Superintendent
What You Need for this Position - 3 years of experience as a Foreman or Sr. Field Engineer preferred
- 5+ Years of experience of General Contractor experience with related project experience in Multi-family and Affordable Housing projects
- A Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience as a Project Manager within Commercial Construction
- Knowledge of construction cost and estimating, construction scheduling, and engineering principles and techniques
- Knowledge of various design and construction means, methods and materials, their characteristics, and installation procedures.
- Proficient with Software Applications such as MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, Timberline, Viewpoint
