The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gynecology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Teaching responsibilities may include clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents and participation in formal teaching curriculum.

Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient gynecology care and gynecological surgery at both the University of Pennsylvania Health System and the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. Obstetrical care including labor and delivery will be provided at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Candidates would join an established group of full-time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice nurses in a faculty practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. A commitment to resident and medical education is required.
